Bridges, Railway Crossings and Drainage

This course will explore the duties and liabilities of local authorities, landowners and other organizations and the practical management issues associated with management of bridges, railway crossings and drainage.

Publishing a New Definitive Map and Statement

This course will explore the vexed question of how to be both compliant and efficient in the consolidation process and will address the common problems associated with it. It will also review any recent case law in respect of rights of way, with specific attention to definitive map matters.

Commons, Town and Village Greens

This course will examine the history of and legislation affecting commons, town and village greens and will explore some of the practical management issues involved.

Risk Management and Public Rights of Way

The course will address issues relating to local authority and landowner liabilities and risk management associated with public rights of way and countryside access and will consider the development of robust management policies and procedures.


Professional Development Schemes

All training courses qualify for 5 hours for the Professional Development Schemes of The Bar Standards Board, The Solicitors Regulation Authority, The Institute of Legal Executives and the Institute of Public Rights of Way Management.

 

The speakers’ full papers will be provided at each training course.

at £192 per set (inc. p&p) to subscribers who cannot attend the course.
