The course will be of interest to local authority managers with legal, public rights of way and planning responsibilities, to developers and planning consultants, to barristers and solicitors advising clients and to bodies advising landowners and users.

Commons, Town and Village Greens

 

The aim of this course is to examine the recent history of and legislation affecting commons, town and village greens and to explore some of the practical issues for councils which are registration authorities; for landowners and developers and for their legal advisers. There is a considerable body of new legislation, regulations and new cases in the process of being determined by the courts, therefore the course will provide a topical update on the subject.

Creating New Opportunities for Public Access

The aim of this course is to explore alternative means for securing new access opportunities by means other than DMMO process and to identify the key issues involved.
